Product Description
Our galvanized Hook & Hook type open body Turnbuckles are intended to provide an adjustable rigging connection which applies tension between two components (usually wire ropes and suspension points). The open barrel design gives a clear indication of thread extension whilst both the hook ends provide safe connection points to ensure the rigging is securely fastened.
Our turnbuckles comply with the requirements of ASTM F1145-92. They are hot dip galvanized for durability and weather resistance. Recommended for straight or in-line pull only. The hook & hook turnbuckles feature a hook with a larger width for a stronger hook with better fatigue ratings on each end. The hook on the end makes for easy connections/disconnections for the turn buckle. With the body of the turnbuckle having a reverse thread on each end, it makes the assembly exceptionally easy to tighten and loosen by simply twisting the body of the turnbuckle.
Turnbuckles may be used on its own or in conjunction with other turnbuckles to increase length in the assembly. They can be used with a length of rope, cable, or other rigging assembly as a connection point to adjust slack and tension within the line. Can be used for something as simple as a fence or as complicated as a suspension bridge. Commonly used in some industries like construction, aviation, maritime transport, sports and entertainment.

- TURNBUCKLES RECOMMENDED FOR STRAIGHT OR IN-LINE PULL ONLY.
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM F1145-92.
- End fittings are Quenched and Tempered or Normalized, bodies heat treated by normalizing.
- Hot Dip galvanized steel.
- Lock Nuts available for all sizes.
- Proof load is 2.5 times of WLL, and Breaking load is 5 times of WLL.
