Product Description

Our Heavy Duty Thimble is designed for use with high-performance wire rope. The thimbles meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-T-276B Type III.

The thimble creates a 'hard' eye at wire rope ends, making it features greater protection against wear and deformation of the wire rope eye. Our galvanized Heavy Duty Thimble provide smooth and even grooves, maximum strength in critical areas, and the proper bending radius for the rope.

Important features:

- Recommended used for wire ropes sized from 1/8" to 3-1/2".

- Galvanized and zinc plated.

- To assemble, place thimble into loop end, insert both ends of wire into clip saddle and tighten nuts until secure.
