Bolt Type Bow Shackle: Secure and Durable Rigging Solution
Our Bolt Type Bow Shackle is engineered with a safety bolt design, ensuring enhanced security and reliability. Each shackle is crafted through a quenching and tempering process, utilizing high-quality carbon steel for the bow and alloy steel for the pins, guaranteeing exceptional strength and durability.
Bow shackles, also known as anchor shackles, feature a large, rounded "O" shape, making them versatile for side loading or multi-leg sling connections. The bolt type shackle is a more secure variant, combining a bolt, nut, and cotter pin to provide double safety, preventing accidental loosening of the pin. This design makes it suitable for both single-leg and multi-leg rigging systems.
Bolt type shackles are ideal for applications requiring rotation or torque resistance, offering superior security compared to round pin or screw pin shackles. The galvanized finish ensures long-term durability, making them resistant to corrosion and wear.
These shackles are particularly practical in rigging scenarios where rotation is expected, such as semi-permanent or long-term installations.
